IRON MAIDEN Real Live Tour (Official 1993 UK 20 page tour programme issued during the UK & European leg of their Tour, packed with photos of the band on stage, tour information & a superb cover, complete with rare merchandisinginsert. This cover displays only a little light wear and little age, otherwise a really nice example)
TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
After a short break from touring following the release of 'A Real Live One' album they returned to the road for 'The Real Live Tour'. Sometime during the break Bruce Dickinson had announced that he would be leaving the band at the end of the tour so the the tour became a farewell for Bruce, and Maiden played many songs that had not been played in a long time such as the classic 'Prowler' and 'Transylvania'. Following the tour they released another live album entitled 'A Real Dead One' containing mostly older songs and the single 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' which featured an image of Bruce being killed by Eddie The Devil. Partly due to Bruce leaving the band, this became one of the best documented tours.
Unfortunately there was also some controversy, since it was alleged that with the exception of a few select shows, Bruce's vocals didn't sound particularly good and this is supported by a number of existing audience recordings.
The final show of the tour was a collaboration with horror magician Simon Drake and was broadcast unde the name of 'Raising Hell'. After this final show, the tour was over and Bruce left the band to pursue his solo career.
