HUSKER DU Metal Circus EP (1989 US issue of the 1983 7-track 12" vinyl EP - This EP shows signs of the band's hardcore roots but also hinting at more melodic things to come, especially on the two songs sung by drummer Grant Hart ['It's Not Funny Anymore' and 'Diane', the latter based on the murder of West St. Paul waitress Diane Edwards by Joseph Ture in 1980]. This later pressing displays the smaller pressing rings to the labels [as originally seen in the 2nd 1983 issue] and displaysthe 'S-22062' matrices [which were NOT present in the 1983 issues]. The glossy non-barcoded single pocket picture sleeve shows just a little storage wear for its age and the vinyl itself appears in barely played condition)
