HANK MOBLEY / AL COHN / ZOOT SIMS / JOHN COLTRANE Tenor Conclave (1957 UK Rare as a snowball in hell 4-track mono LP on the collectable Esquire label with RVG etching, featuring a Mount Rushmore Jazz lineup of Red Garland on Piano, Paul Chamberson Bass & Art Taylor on Drums & of course the aformentioned gods of Tenor - Mobley, Cohn, Sims and Coltrane. Housed in the iconic Harry Peck designed Esquire, fully laminated single pocket picture sleeve with liner notes from Ira Gitler on thereverse. The sleeve [G] shows some laminate fraying which is common with the sleeve type, the start of a split to the corner edges of the pocket opening. Evidence of a thumbtack perforation and some residue on the top flipback. Despite this, the vinyl remains in Excellent condition with only a single small cosmetic scuff which cannot be felt to the touch and does not impact play - Priced advantageously)
