URIAH HEEP Abominog (Original 1982 South African 10-track LP. This pressing of Uriah Heep’s powerful hard-rock comeback album, Abominog — a release widely regarded as one of the band’s strongest ‘80s efforts and a pivotal moment in their reinvention. Featuring the revitalised line-up of the era, the album delivers a harder, more contemporary sound, highlighted by standout tracks such as ‘That’s The Way That It Is’, ‘On The Rebound’ and ‘Hot Persuasion’.
Housed in a glossy picture sleeve, this South African variant is notably harder to find than its UK and European counterparts. The sleeve displays some moderate edgewear consistent with its origin and age, along with a vintage price sticker still proudly attached to the front. The vinyl itself is remarkably well-preserved, showing very few signs of play and grading a strong Excellent, especially rare for a South African pressing where handling and storage conditions were often less favourable ML4589)
