Released in 1957 on Prestige Records, Walkin' features a collection of songs that were originally released in 1954. With Davis on trumpet and as band leader, the recordings also feature Horace Silver, Lucky Thompson, J.J. Johnson, Percy Heath and Kenny Clarke.
This new edition of the album is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI with lacquers cut from the original tapes (AAA) by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and a Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.
