SLADE Slade In Flame (2021 UK/EU limited edition 10-track LP pressed on Yellow & Red Flame Splatter Vinyl, the soundtrack to Slade's seminal 1975 film described by BBC film critic Mark Kermode as "the Citizen Kane of British pop movies". Featuring the hits Far Far Away and How Does It Feel, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve. Although not sealed, this example remains in a 'near as new' condition)

Reissue of Slade’s first soundtrack album and fifth studio album Slade In Flame. Originally released on 29th November 1974, it entered the UK album chart at #6 and it was certified gold by the BPI in February 1975.

When Slade embarked upon their one and only movie in 1974, fans and critics alike were expecting something like a glam rock update of the Beatles’ A Hard Days Night, released a decade earlier. After all, Slade were the ultimate good time band, irreverent, loud and armed with a terrific set of singalong stompers. Expectations were confounded, however, upon release of the film. Gritty realism, exposing the seedy reality of band life in the late 60’s, was the order of the day and flame is all the better for it.
