JOHN COLTRANE QUARTET Crescent (Rare 1965 UK 5-track STEREO LP on the red & black 'Nipper' stamp label, Features Trane's classic quartet line-up - McCoy Tyner on piano, bassist Jimmy Garrison and drummer Elvin Jones - recorded April the 27th and 1st of June '64, and acting as a fine prelude to the classic A Love Supreme recorded later that year. Front laminated flipback picture sleeve with sleevenotes by Nat Hentoff. The sleeve shows minimal wear whilst the vinyl shows a few lightscuffs and cosmetic wear, not affecting play.
