THE PORTSMOUTH SINFONIA Plays The Popular Classics (Freaky 1973 UK 11-track LP on the Transatlantic label with colour logo one side, produced by Brian Eno & featuring Eno on clarinet(!). The ensemble comprised radical non-musicians & was encouraged by the great Gavin Bryars & influenced by Cornelius Cardew & his anarchic ''Scratch'' Orchestra, fully laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve laminate lift along thespine whilst the vinyl grades Excellent with light signs of play TRA275)
