MIKE WESTBROOK CONCERT BAND Celebration (1967 UK first press 8-track Stereo LP on a 'deep groove' Deram label, front laminated picture sleeve. Original compositions from band leader Westbrook [Piano] & John Surman [Saxes] along with Mike Osborne [Alto Sax], Malcolm Griffiths [Trombone], Harry Miller[Bass], Alan Jackson [Drums], Dave Holdsworth [Trumpet, Flugal Horn] & more, recorded between 29th July & 5th August 1967. An outstanding debut from Westbrook & a top British jazz rarity to boot. The sleeve shows just a little shelfwear, mostly to the unlaminated back & the vinyl looks barely played. Recommended SML1013)
