NEKTAR Down To Earth (1974 UK 9-track LP of 'Progressive Circus', featuring Robert Calvert as the Ringmaster of this sawdust serenade, great textured gatefold picture sleeve. The bands fifth album was a marked departure from previous releasesoffering a different take on their progressive style with elements of funk and ever-so-slightly more focussed songwriting, although there are still plenty of extended passages and wigged-out solos.
