THE BOLSHOI THEATRE ORCHESTRA & CHORUS conducted by
ALEXANDER MELIK-PASHEYEV Cherevichki (1965 Russian triple
LP box set, complete with twenty page libretto with text in
Russian, English & French. The performance is a celebrated
classic recorded in 1948 and starring some of the greatest
stars of The Bolshoi at that time, such as Elena Kruglikova,
Elizaveta Antonova, Georgy Nelepp, Andrei Ivanov, Maxim
Mikhailov and others. The Opera is also known as 'The
Slippers' in English but was originally entitled 'Vakula the
Smith' when first written in 1874 but retitled upon a re-write
in 1887. The textured pasted picture box shows just light
shelfwear & all vinyl remains near 'as new' with little sign of
