ROLLING STONES Their Satanic Majesties Request (Rare 1967 UK Second issue 10-track MONO vinyl LP with 1K/1K matrices, on the 'deep groove' unboxed Decca logo light blue label, printed with the side indicator on the left side of the spindle hole and 'Sing This All Together (See What Happens)' split over two lines, complete with with the red psychedelic inner, superb lenticular 3D front laminated gatefold picture sleeve TXL103)
See 'More Info' for further details ...

The sixth release by the Rolling Stones was recorded over a number of sporadic sessions amidst a blur of court appearances, prison sentences, & psychedelic drugs. Arguably one of the Stones' more 'out there' affairs, it received mix reviews at the time, & remains a controversial release in their back catalogue.

Matrix Numbers:
Side 1 - ARL-8126-T2-1K
Side 2 - ARL-8127-T2-1K

As the matrix numbers on this copy contain the T2 identifier, while still being part of the first pressing run, it shows that this was in fact the stereo recording folded down to one channel, so has to technically be classed a 'second' press. The matrix number denotes it may be a transition between 1K/1P stampers and 3K/3K stampers.

The sleeve shows minijmal wear with just a little corner rubbing and the lenticular panel still clean & bright.
This is the first issue sleeve with the mono text on the bottom right hand corner of the back of the sleeve. Later issues had this printed on the top right hand corner. Also worth noting that if you look closely in the 3D part of the sleeve you can pick out images of Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison lurking amongst the psychedelia. Good luck, it took me a while to spot them!

This copy has the original red inner that is usually prone to seam splits, however this one has none and only shows only light natural creasing.

The vinyl remains in Excellent condition and retains its sheen. The labels show spindle wear, whilst the vinyl has just a few light scuffs to indicate play
Although not mint, this is still a really nice example.
