THE BAND Music From Big Pink (Rare 1968 UK 11-track MONO vinyl LP on the rainbow rimmed Capitol label with text in the perimter colourband, front laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse picture sleeve with 'Patents Pending' lettering & 6810 date, featuring artwork by Bob Dylan. A landmark release that eschewed the psychedelic trappings of the time for an altogether more rootsy sound, steeped in Americana. The sleeve is graded VG as it shows some edgwear, light creasing to thelaminate with some discoularation to the reverse, the flipbacks remain secure and the spine text is legible. The vinyl has a couple of light hairlines but is overall in Excellent condition, overall a nice copy of a scarce item at an advantageous price T2955)
